Abstract
Chicoreus elliscrossi Fair, 1974 has been considered to be a form of "C. superbus (Sowerby, 1889)" (Radwin & D'Attilio, 1976). Reproductive organs, radulae and shells of C. elliscrossi collected from Wakayama Pref. were examined and compared with those of "C. superbus". C. elliscrossi can be distinguished by having different shape of penis and different shape and size of radula. A so-called intermediate form between both ones shown by Okamura et al. (1978) can be regarded as to be the typical C. superbus descrbied by Sowerby (1889).
