Abstract

Hemocytes of juveniles of an estuarine gastropod mollusc, Clithon retropictus, were found to be immature compared with those of adult specimens in morphological and enzyme histochemical evidences, which would be related with the sedentary capability of the gastropod against V. parahaemolyticus.
