Abstract
In recent years, the art museum support by digital archives attracts attention. However, there is no research which treated digital archives and image processing for restoration systematically. In this paper, in order to support actual restoration by virtual restoration, it discussed systematically to digital archives, extraction of damage, and virtual restoration. First, we extracted the missing part by digitizing form for oil painting with flaking. Next, the interpolation of image processing corresponding to the actual restoration was discussed, and virtual restoration was performed. Furthermore, addition of texture was examined in order to improve an interpolation result.
