Abstract
Three-dimensionalization of digital images has been investigated seeking for further reality improvement. A most feasible and stable technology based on the binocular disparity and convergence requires stereo-glasses. However, there is still a strong desire for glass-free method in order to ease the stress to viewers caused by glasses or imperfect 3D sensation. In this report, Space-Sampling method is investigated for glass-free 3D images. With layered image sensor device, Space-Sampling method captures 3D image projected through a lens. Layered display panels reproduce real 3D image with depth. Transparent image sensors, layered display panels, depth resolution analysis and blur elimination problems are studied.
