Based on a form of traditional Japanese ghosts, the writer supposes to give advice on how to create new ghost characters. There are more than 300 kinds of ghost’s legends which can be fond in Japanese traditional works. This paper, firstly, will collect scholar’s definitions about Japaneseghost, and classify those definitions. Secondly, the writer will use the method of Puzzles to analyze and redefine the image of ghost. As targetsof this study,the writer will create new ghostcharacters basedonthe methodofPuzzles.Polishingandenriching thenew characters.
