“Shigisan-engi-emaki” web contents with detailed descriptions for learning classical literature

Abstract

“Shigisan-engi-emaki” is called as one of the four most popular emaki in Japan. This emaki is a wonderful dynamism and narrative depiction. Based on a preceding production of web contents to learn emaki, improvements were done, for the purpose to be used in class of classical literatures. Detailed classifications were done, and tags are added. A searching function to find images from database are made for comparing images easily. Menu structures are changed from the previous development to find information easily. By this development, the web contents become more feasible learning materials for learning.
