Abstract
In the present research, reference is made to the twelve principles of animation penned by animators from the historical Disney studio, as detailed in ' The illusion of life'. Utilizing motion capture apparatuses, which employ inertial sensors to document human movements, we procure motion capture data and subsequently explore methodologies to refine this data. It is noteworthy that while certain principles from Disney's set of twelve are beneficial for the refinement process, others are not pertinent. The ultimate objective is to actualize a more authentic representation in CG animation through the judicious use of economical my motion capture techniques.
