Abstract
In recent years, much attention has been given to an economic activity known as servicizing, especially with regard to its environmental preservation angle. Servicizing is basically a concept whereby providers are selling services rather than directly selling products.
This paper first looks at the servicizing business from a“means to achieve” perspective. Secondly, it investigates a few major cases for their business and environmental performance records. Lastly, it discusses various breakthrough problems and policies associated with the promotion of the servicizing concept.
