Abstract
A novel tetra-fluorine-containing cyclophane supramolecule was synthesized and structurally characterized by singlecrystal X-ray diffraction. The space group name is Pbca. The unit-cell dimensions are a = 15.2166(15), b = 23.228(2), c = 26.753(3)Å, with V = 9455.9(16)Å3, and R = 0.0506. The crystal structure shows that the complex units are linked by non-classical hydrogen-bonding. In the structure, there are C-H…F and C-H…O intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
