Abstract

The title compound 3 was prepared for the first time and its crystal structure has been determined. This macrocycle crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2₁/a with a = 10.105(2), b = 20.061(3), c = 11.213(3)Å, β = 107.83(2)°, V = 2163.8(8)Å³ and Z = 4. The asymmetric unit comprises one molecule of 3 together with one molecule of MeCN as a packing solvent.
