Abstract
For epidemiologic study of low back pain, questionnaire was carried out to laborers in 1995. Subjects comprised 1, 112 laborers 964 men, 148 women, with range of age from 40 to 63years. 45.1% transporters and 44.3% office workers pointed out a potential relation between the occurrence of low back pain and character of their works. It was considered that risk factors of low back pain were lifting, half-sitting posture and same or unnatural posture continuously in their works. Therefore, we must arouse the risk factors of low back pain for all occupations.
