Abstract
As a preliminary experiment of investigation on the feeding and carcass quality of growing-fattening swine by using legume, author studied on the paratability, effect of cutting and herbage intake.
The swine used in this experiment are three middle whites of about fifty kg body weight. ladino-clover was chosen among legume and fed up with it.
The results are briefly summarized as follows:
1. Swine took ladino-clover as well as cabbage leaves.
2. Swine fed well the cutting one than the long one and did not spit out the waste matter.
3. Swine took the ladino-clover of 3.5-4.0kg per day and the herbage intake was much at the beginning 30 minutes than thereafter.
4. Swine took three or four hours to eat them up.
