In this study, we built a morphable 3D face model learned from a multitude of 3D face data displaying various facial expressions, and conducted an experiment to generate various facial expressions on a novel face by properly controlling the parameters defining the morphable model.

Although specular highlights on dry paved roads plays an important role in night scenes, there have been few discussions to synthesize these effects. This study presents that it is important to take into account of the Fresnel reflection coefficient and variations on road surfaces for realistic dry road rendering. It is also demonstrated that the Oren-Nayer model is effective to represent the diffuse reflection.

We propose a method to estimate the height of the baby by using image processing. Since the height value estimated by applying processing to a single image was fluctuated, we discuss how we improve the estimation by using moving pictures.

For a printer using at an office, a school and a public office, the performance of easy-to-use, economic efficiency, environmental responsiveness and high-speed is required. Recently, a printing system which includes not only printing unit but post-processing one becomes general in the market. To meet these customer and market demands, a series of ORPHIS adopted line type inkjet system, high-speed sheet-fed paper delivery system and oil base pigment ink dedicated for this printing system. In this paper, the main point of line type high-speed inkjet printer and post-processing equipment are explained.

If the printing method changes, the printing paper also changes. If the printing paper changes, the whole world changes around you. The inkjet technology would be mainstream from the conventional printing technologies in near future. However, the key of the revolution is only “paper media”. We would like to tell the importance of the paper as media for high-speed inkjet printing.

The ultimate objective of our study is to develop the women entrepreneurs in Iwaki city. The purpose of this report is to consider what is required in order to achieve to above purpose .
