Our first bulletin, the “Bulletin of the Imperial Forestry Experimental Station” was issued in 1904 (Meiji 37), more than 100 years.

plant ecology, forest vegetation, forest molecular genetics and biotechnology, forest management, forest policy and economics, forest engineering, forest soils, disaster prevention, meteorology and hydrology, forest entomology, wildlife biology, mushroom science and forest microbiology, wood properties and processing, wood engineering, wood-based materials, wood improvement, forest resource chemistry, international partnerships and research on climate change, biodiversity, forest restoration and radioecology, forest damage and risk management, advanced materials, breeding, genetic resources, international cooperation, and forest bio-research.

Publication frequency
Four times a year (March, June, September, and December)
