Using public information, this study aimed to examine the possibility of collaboration and cooperation among fields, such as medical and nursing care, in a local, inclusive community. Apart from medical and nursing professionals, a diverse range of individuals carrying out particular activities while sharing roles are vital in supporting the daily lives of residents in such a community. Because these activities are generally not-for-profit and are not necessarily profitable in their respective businesses, the study suggests the possibility of using a Balanced Scorecard as a method for this purpose.

This paper examines BSC incorporating the SDGs from the case of Bethlehem Garden Hospital. Combining the SDGs with the BSC can inform stakeholders about the hospital’s actions to achieve the SDGs. It has the potential to enhance the reputation of the hospital. This paper also identifies the advantages and disadvantages of combining the SDGs into the BSC and makes suggestions for improvement.

The Pharmacy Management Committee of the Kanagawa Society of Hospital Pharmacists held a Balanced Scorecard seminar for hospital pharmacists with the goal of disseminating the BSC among hospital pharmacy departments. So far, 14 times have been held in the collective SGD seminar recommended by the academic society, but in 2020, it was made an online seminar using a Web application in COVID-19 pandemic. We will evaluate the usefulness of the online seminar from the management side, and report on the advantages and disadvantages of the online seminar and the points to be noted when introducing it.

Our pharmacy opened on August 2, 2021 as an insurance pharmacy specializing in home medical care. Report on BSC utilization cases aimed at penetrating business strategies when pharmacies open.

Kikuna Memorial Hospital introduced HBSC in 2018 and continued for 2 years. We re-formulate our HBSC because of revision of medical fees 2020. In 2018 review, little cooperation from doctors in action to achieve the goal. Therefore, in producing the 2020 edition we add 10 doctors to Production team. Whereupon, doctors were actively involved in strategy planning.
