Now restriction of age is performed in Gastric Mass Survey (G. M. S.) under the principles as efficiency, x-ray exposure and health control. It is widely used now that the best suitable age for accepting a G. M. S. is over 40.
The effectiveness of the method of G. M. S. had been discussed by many experts but effectiveness is taken as a factor in restriction of age in G. M. S. is none.
I discuss again about the lower limitation of age of the object in G. M S. and at same time, I also performed a statistical discussion about its upper limitation of age which had never a definit theory until now.
About dates, I collect the national total amount of G. M. S. of Japan (S. 46-48), a certain occupation group (S. 45-49) and cases of gastric cancer detected by 3rd Dept. of Internal Medicine of Nihon University.
Cases of gastic cancer found by a certain occupation group and dynamics statistics of population. Cases of operated gastric cancer of 3rd surgical Dept. of Nihon University. All of that are used in this discuss and results are illustrated as follow:
(1) The lower limitation of age of the objects are 35, 40, 45, in the justification but consider the efficiency, especially a loss of heredity due to x-ray exposure, 35 is recommended, but 45 will be recommended if think much of x-ray exposure.
(2) Under the consideration of the conditions such as efficiency, progress and the question of age of object in G. M. S. will be 64. It is considerable that the efficiency will be increased if except the object who is over 65 in age in G. M. S.
