本稿は、本学における地域に根差した子育て支援の取り組みの中で、乳幼児期の子どもを育てる保護者支援の講座として希少な箱庭療法の体験に関して、これまでの実践経過を報告するものである。本学は2009年より地域との連携の中で子育て支援の活動に取り組み、現在西宮市及び神戸市における地域子育て支援拠点事業の一環として3力所の子育て広場を運営している。広場で開催される講座は大学が乳幼児を育てる保護番に対して子育てに関する様々な視点や親子の関係を捉え直す機会を提供するもので、子音て支援の活動において重要なものである。その1つとして、本学では心理療法の一技法である箱庭療法を利用した講座を開催してきた。これまでの実践から箱庭療法体験講座は、乳幼児期の子どもを育てる母親らにとって①自身がどのように育ってきたかを振り返る。②自身の子育てを見直す(子どもの育ちを捉え直す)。③自身の人生を物語ることにより過去、現在、未来を結びつける。④今の自分をこれで良いと実感し受け止める。⑤これからの展望を持つ。などの心の作業に取り組む場となっていることが考えられた。今後も子育て中の親と子を支える取り組みを継続し、大学における地域子育て支援のあり方について検討していきたい。
