A 52-year-old man, who had a rare complication of alveolar bone necrosis and spontaneous teeth exfoliation associated with herpes zoster infection in the trigeminal nerve, was presented.
These rare complications were considered to be due to:(1) host immunosuppression (2) chronic periodontitis and (3) ischemic bone necrosis by herpetic granulomatous angiitis in the alveolar bone.
