Abstract
This report is analysing and considering the independent activities of five years old children in their classroom where "Painting through sounds" was the subject and I emphasized relevancies for sounds, forms and colours in my mind. Firstly, children painted rain soon after they had listened to the sounds of rain through a CD. Afterwards, they actually experienced rain in the open air and came back to their class for painting rain. I compared both of the paintings and was convinced that the actual experience stimulates selfidentification. I concluded that experience of feeling sounds is one of the very important factors for the children to express themselves richly when they paint.
