Abstract
Most researchers are opposed to exhibitions or contests for children and students because of the educational inappropriateness, however, they are held in Japan all year round and also awardoriented or commercialism doesn't disappear. When an exhibition or contest is just for praising the expression activity, there is no problem. Therefore, an exhibition or contest which truly admires children's originality and informs the artistry of forming works and the diversification of expressive style should be held by the teacher who has good common sense.
