Erratum to: Introduction to Mendelian randomization

In the article by Shiu Lun Au Yeung et al., “Introduction to Mendelian randomization,” which was originally published on January 1, 2025 (Annals of Clinical Epidemiology 2025;7(1):27–37. doi.org/10.37737/ace.25004), corrections are needed.

The following corrections are made to the article:

In the Abstract, the sentence “This was followed by introducing one sample MR designs (in which instrument-exposure and instrument-outcome associations are derived from the same sample) and one sample MR design (in which instrument-exposure and instrument-outcome associations are derived from different samples)” is changed to “This was followed by introducing one sample MR design (in which instrument-exposure and instrument-outcome associations are derived from the same sample) and two sample MR design (in which instrument-exposure and instrument-outcome associations are derived from different samples)”.

These corrections do not affect the original conclusions.
