Abstract
Anoveltypeadhesiveusingnanocompositebasedonepoxy/acrylateinterpenetratingpolymernetwork(IPN)wassynthesizedbyinsitupolymerizationtechnique.Twotypesofmontmollironiteasanano-fillerwhichtreatedwithalkyl.ω一calboxylalkylanmoniumsaltweredispersedintothebaseIPNresin.Theresultantproductswhichhavetwokindofstructurewereobtained,andonewasdelaminated-nanocomposite,theotheronewasintercalated-nanocomposite.Adhesionpropertiesweremeasuredbytensilesharetest.Astheresult,itwasfoundthatbondstrengthofdelaminated-nanocompositehasimprovedbyasmuchas30%comparedwithunfilled-IPN.
