Abstract

This work is an experiential media system that creates a connection between people and the city in a public space called “Connect Kanazawa 2”. Street piano was set up in the park, and projection mapping was generated by live piano performance. That is, music and images decorated the venue. To make the experience memorable for each participant, an augmented reality (AR) rabbit and a projected image can be caught at the venue, and was provided as NFT images. Designed to revitalize the community, the system allows participants to be involved in the live performance themselves, making the experience memorable. Demonstration experiment using this system were held in the light-up event, “Kanazawa Tsukimi Koro 2023”.
