The mean air temperature at the stand where is no meteorological observation can be estimated by geographical proportional method from the known data of 3 adequate points which surround the stand, supposing the raise rate of the temperature to be 0.6°C per 100m height. As the examples, the estimations for Kyoto, Kiev and Cincinnati were compared with the observed values.
