Abstract

Requirements of effective video retrieval is growing because of increase of video content distribution services. Therefore, in this report, we propose a feature descriptor that describe an object contour and its transformation. This descriptor is based on CSS(Curvature Scale Space) which is the shape descriptor defined in MPEG-7.
