A Study of Cell Phone Movie Analysis for User Context Recognition

Abstract

It is becoming more difficult for users to get needed information sufficiently and efficiently by using a cellular phone. One problem is that the interface function on the cellular phone is limited due to the required small size and weight, whereas it has many functions for various applications. In addition, it becomes hard to operate the functions with increase of complication of cellular phone system. This paper focuses on the information obtained from image sequences captured by cellular phone camera to understand the user context and assist the users to search information effectively.
