Abstract
When multimedia information is rendered and presented, pets feel a strong interest in the information, and their attention will be caught by the multimedia equipment. Therefore, multimedia equipment should be more significantly designed than other equipment, and some design guidelines are required. Responding the requirements, this paper studies some behaviors of dogs to multimedia (audio, video, and etc.) information and proposes a design guideline for pet protection to/from multimedia equipment.
