Research on recognition of peripheral vision under conditions expanding circle image

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the basic characteristics of the recognition of peripheral vision under conditions expanding circle image . Experiments measured the time when the subject noticed a change under expanding circle image . Time for recognition was found of be longer in the vertical direction than the horizontal direction . In the vertical direction , the upper region was found to be longer recognition time than the lower region .
