Abstract

We considered a detection system that uses an infrared camera to install in drone or monitoring camera. YOLOv3 is the object detection algorithm bein g used in this study. A b ear we set as a target is supposed to be a harmful animal that attacks victims in a mountainous area. We considered the effectiveness of virtual datasets using 3D models because it is dangerous to capture harmful animals face to face. The recall score on the F1 score of detecting RGB images using virtual datasets shows 61.3[%] 61.3[%]. In addition to this, the recall score of detecting infrared images by datasets using infrared images shows 98.1[%].
