Abstract
This study is an investigation of various corvee immunities and labor services of Agrarian-carpenters as well as sawyers of Kinai and Ohmi districts under the purview of Nakai Family. This paper deals with Kan'ei era. First triggered to the acquisition of Corvee Immunity by Rouju-form, introducing the "Memoirs of Lawsuit" of carpenters and sawyers of six regions and, examined the reliability of those historical sources. Next, contents of the corvee immunities were brought to light and, investigate their significance as well as the historical background. Even indicate the strengthening of work-force administration by the Nakai Family themselves, by taking grant of Corvee Immunity and giving landed property to sawyers and carpenters under their purview.
