Abstract
In previous studies, a batch-type desiccant air-conditioning system placed in the floor cavity was proposed which is able to operate perennially in both cooling-dehumidification and heating-humidification modes with ventilation. And a numerical analysis model to estimate the performance of the proposed system was developed.
In this paper, a sensitivity analysis was conducted with design-parameters such as temperature of hot and cold water, mass flow rate of hot and cold water, air flow rate, quantity of desiccant, quantity of thermal energy storage material and transposed interval. by using the developed numerical analysis model. In order to verify the role of thermal energy storage tank, a comparative numerical analysis with or without a thermal energy storage tank was conducted. And the adaptability of the large humidity-control capacity to latent load was evaluated.
