To clarify whether the discomfort caused under high humidity conditions is caused by the humidness/wetness sensations without strong heat/warm sensations, the subject experiments were conducted. As the results, around thermal neutrality on hot/warm side (0 to +0.5 in PMV scale), the discomfort sensation tended to become more intense as the air humidity became higher, and the humidness/wetness sensations might contribute to the discomfort sensation as well as heat/warm sensation. It was suggested that the discomfort sensation vote correlated with skin wettedness as well as PMV, SET* under the conditions in this study.
