Abstract

Improving motivation to learn and promoting mental health among university students are important issues. Furthermore, it is expected that university campus will be transformed into a “co-creation” hub and how the campus should be designed for the new form of education and research in the post-pandemic society is under consideration. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted to clarify the relationship between motivation to learn & mental health and the architectural environment. The effects of each environmental element on motivation to learn and mental health differed, and differences were also found in the effects of different work content.
