In order to evaluate the performance of signs comprehensively, the evaluation chart was created. The framework of chart was created by the consideration of previous studies. The chart has nested structure and four layers. From top to bottom, the headings of the layers are performance, element, target and Performance evaluation index. Each item of this chart has the value of contribution to their one above layer item, derived by impression evaluation experiment. The experiment was 7 stages of rating scale method. The value of contribution was verified by another experiment and considered by compared with previous studies.
