This study integrates the application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in revising community agreements to explore solar dynamics, energy consumption, and indoor daylighting within an urban community context in Japan. Using Autodesk Revit, the research evaluates the impact of replacing single glass windows with low-emissivity triple glazing and implementing shading devices. The findings indicate energy savings, particularly for buildings with high window-to-wall ratios on sun-exposed facades. The study also emphasizes the need to balance energy efficiency with natural lighting. The study aims to explore potential utilization of BIM-based models and simulations on built environment for community agreement development.
