Abstract
The consistency of fresh concrete is generally evaluated Theologically by using theBingham model expressed with yield value and plastic viscosity. In this study, the slump test is discussed from the rheological point of view, which is the standard method for testing the consistency of fresh concrete. The theoretical curve of slumping-time relation is obtained as a function of the rheological parameters of concrete such as yield value and plastic viscosity. The estimating method of yield value and plastic viscosity of materials from the experimental slumping curve and slump-flowing curve is proposed.
