We derive scaling relations of outer fault parameters of crustal earthquakes with magnitude Mw of 6.5 to 7.9 using heterogeneous slip models in the world considering fault types. The fault area, length and average slip are modeled as proportional to M0b using seismic moment M0 after the significance is proved by t-test if the regression coefficient b can be constrained to 1/2 or 1. The relations between subsurface fault parameters by fault models and surface fault parameters by surface rupture observations are also derived in order to estimate subsurface fault parameters from active fault survey.
