Abstract
For the hyperbolic paraboloid-shell expressed by the surface equation F=k/2(x^2-y^2), the Wlasor type fundamental differential equations are [numerical formula] [numerical formula] These equations are solved by the Fourier serier series method and by the finite defference method for the boundary condition of the clamped edge. In a numerical example, deflections w, bending-moments M_x, normal forceses N_x along x axis computed by the former method are compared with those which derived from the latter method.
