Abstract
Nowadays, the diffusion of lasting consumer goods-TV, refrigrator, washer, etc.-, variety of diet and increase of leisure consumption are regarded as so-called living innovation. But the phenomenon does not necessarily considered as a vigh standard of living in a especially narrow dwelling unit in Japan. We persuade the influences of new furinitures upon the living life-the space pattern of mode of life-and make clear what is the living innovation. The conclusion is as follows. The living life of the poor class which was made up of only sleeping and eating, was severely influenced wich TV and chainged into a few living type in the three rooms apartments houses. These chainge severely demand for establishment of living room. (1) A type of seperating TV from diet. TV is seperated from diet and set in the bed room. (2) A type of concentrating TV diet on a bed room. Sleeping, eating and sitting round TV are operated in the same room. (3) A type of seperating TV from bed room. TV is seperated from bed room and set in the diet.
