Abstract
Author calculated the response analysis on the vibration of the Elasto-Plastic steel arched frame due to the strong earthquake motions by using the electric digital computer, and discussed the influence of the displacements and the progression of yield members in the Elasto-Plastic steel arched frame elcted by the steel truss members or the steel full web members. This paper is the fifth report of the series on the dynamic response analysis of the space structure for the earthquakes. These results are as follows; (1) It is shown that the maximum displacement of the arch elected by the steel truss members is larger than the one of the arch elcted due to the steel full web members in the Elasto-plastic steel arched frame. (2) In this case the yield members are columns and springs but the progression of the yield members are different to the strong earthquake motions.
