Abstract

In this paper the results of shear racking tests of the full-size wall panels with opening constructed with wooden framing and plywood facings. Furthermore, the effectiveness of approximate equations for prediction of shear strength and stiffness of the wall panel with opening which were proposed by the author is examined through the above test results.
