Abstract
As the general space loading on the corner H-columns, bi-axial bending moment gradient and uniform torsion under constant axial load are assumed. Some problems in theoretical analyses, arisen by applying torsion, are investigated and a few analytical examples are given. Problems particulary considered in the analysis are as follows; (1) use of sine and cosine for torsional angles (2) effect of cross-sectional rotation on curvature (3) derivatives of the co-ordinates of the torsional center (4) derivatives of the flexural-torsional rigidity (5) Shear force due to moment gradient (6) Yield criterion considering the interaction of normal and shear strain
