Abstract
When the human body is assumed to be a rectangular solid (0.4m×0.2m×1.2m), configuration factors between the rectangular solid and a rectangular plane are obtained by numerical calculation. These results are illustrated in charts, and examples of their application are shown. Comparison of the above-mentioned configuration factors with others for the human body and equivalent simple solid models, or configuration factors between each plane α, β and γ of the rectangular solid R and a rectangular plane δ, will be presented by the authors in following papers.
