Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explain the influence on the audience's age and range of a civic hall by its location and performance in osaka. The method of this survey is mesh analysis. The conclusions are as follows : 1) average audience's age : 20〜30 ages in a orchestra concert, 35〜50 ages in a Japanese traditional entertaiment. 2) The pyramidal shape of the audience's age has four kinds : star shape, gourd shape, pot shape, opposite-pot shape. 3) The hall location gives a pattern of the audience's range. 4) The kind of a performance determins the scale of the audience's range. 5) The distance from a hall to the center of osaka mostly determins these : the ratio of audiences per a thousand population and the accumulation curve's pattern.
