A STUDY ON MACHIDUKURI AT A COLLABORATION IN UNDERTAKING FOR TOWNSCAPE IMPROVEMENT(Urban Planning)

Abstract

Recently, there is big wave of MACHIDUKURI with residents participation in field of City Planning. Here, "Undertaking for Townscape Improvement" was dealt, called improvement that residents are leading role. It purposes is to get the suggestion for a future MACHIDUKURI at collaboration. We collected the date about this undertaking from the area of promotion, and investigated the planning of the design Townscape and MACHIDUKURI Agreement. We found that the process realizing the plan for comfortable habitation environment on relation between former and latter. A basic model of MACHIDUKURI Agreement is shown.
