The AIJ Journal of Technology and Design
aims to accumulate and systematize knowledge on building and maintaining pieces
of architecture as well as the cities or areas surrounding them through
technological development and comprehensive research. Accordingly, it compiles
technology and design reports and discussions in the following areas pertaining
to buildings or building-related phenomena as well as disseminates relevant information: 1) New technology pertaining to the planning, design, construction, and
operation of buildings, or to building-related phenomena

methods, equipment, and computer software pertaining to buildings or
