A STUDY ON LAND USE CONTROL AND A LIVING ENVIRONMENT PROBLEM ABOUT CHANGE OF LAND USE INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS IN SAPPORO CITY(Urban Planning)

Abstract

The constructions of high-rise condominiums have been increasing in the center of cities after bursting of bubble economy. Therefore, it is one of assignment in twenty-first century for city planning that settle such troubles. Such troubles increase every year in Sapporo. The constructions of high-rise condominiums have been increasing for the last several years in Indutrial districts developed from the nineteen-fifties to the nineteen-sixties. This tendency is typical in Hassamu mokkou-danchi, and the issue has been covered by the media. Taking Hassamu mokkou-danchi an example, this study clarifies possible land-use contorol and institutional improvements about industrial districts expected the change of land-use from now on.
