Abstract
The research mission for the study of Ancient Egypt at Waseda University has been carried out conservation works of the mud-brick structure on the summit of the Abusir-South hill, in 2003 and 2004 seasons. In this report the process of the works including the discussions concerning about a policy for the works is described in detail. The policy is not only the preservation for the structure but also an indication for people to be able to understand the original appearance. In accordance with this policy, original mud-bricks were covered with fine sand, and modern mud-bricks were piled up on it as a replica.
