Abstract
The accuracy of thermal performance simulation program for houses with air-circulation in walls is validated through comparison with measurements. The simulation and measurements are carried out on a detached house in Saitama prefecture under dwelled condition. Air temperatures in the crawl space, living room, air space and attic are the subjects of the comparison. The accordance of predicted values and measured ones denotes the accuracy of the simulation program. The superiority of the proposed wall structure on heating loads against normal wall structrue is shown using this simulation program.
