EXTENTION OF ACTIVITIES AND SOME VIEWPOINTS OF THE REGIONAL REGENERATION OF OBIHIRO "KITA NO YATAI"(Urban Planning)

Abstract

The activities of "Kita no Yatai", as an example of downtown revitalization in local cities, has attracted many attentions in the nation-wide level. It is necessary to inclusively research the background and the role of its activities to realize the whole of it. This thesis aims at discussion on the relationship between the formation and the idea of "Tokachi Area and Environmental Laboratory" which could be considered as the main organization body of "Kita no Yatai".
